Okay... So I've been waiting to post this one for like a month X3 Why? Because I drew it around a month ago for a contest on a forum I visit, but resisted posting it here till now as I thought it was only fitting to post it here on the Invader Zim DVD's official release date ^^

I can honestly say I think this is my best piece of IZ fanart to date, not to mention the one I've put most effort into, and the one I've had most fun doing. The holographic screens are actually displaying proper words in Irken - and on the ones turned away from us I even went to the effort of writing it backwards =3
The bumper stickers are there because I had the random thought that it would be fun if Zim had bumper stickers on his Voot X3 And if you can't make it out the top one reads 'Caution: I swerve and hit people at random.' I thought it was fitting XD
This was also probably my best lineart to date - when finelining I usually make at least one or two mistakes, and that's on smaller pictures. On this I made none o0 It was coloured on Corel Painter Classic incidentally ^^

Now... Go buy the IZ DVD and annoy Nick XP

Aww, no Dib? XD I swear, there seems to be getting less and less of Dib now.

Aww, 'tis kay though, ZIM and Dib are both my favs! ZIM looks adorably cute here!! I love his bumper sticker! I need that one.. XD if I ever get a car, I should try to make that a bumper-sticker, and one that says "Backseat drivers from beyond the stars". XD

As I already mentioned, ZIM does look cute... I love the way he looks! I like how he looks like he is in your style a bit, Jhonen-esque styles never fail to amaze me, simply because they carry the um... what's the word? They carry the ESSENCE (ah!) of Jhonen's style, but also carry the artist's style as well! Bravo, bravo!

The only thing that looks odd-ish to me is the shading.. it is excellent, but it just seems there's not enough of it! Then again, from viewing your art, I know you are not a heavy shader and highlighter, like I am. So really, this is not even really a critique.

Well, I honestly can't see anything else wrong with the picture, so excellent once again!

I will fav this.

I know this is probably really annoying of me but I thought Mini-moose was brown? Doesn't matter anyhow it still looks great but I don't know it was bugging me.

((Blinks like there's no tomorrow)) It's ZIM and G.I.R.! Squeee! Just by seeing this, you have to draw and colour more! More I say! There is nothing I see wrong with it, though I have to agree on the brown moose comment made by fiddlinartist.

I'm actually going to go by the DVD this weekend, and watch it over... and over... I've been waiting for it for such a long time! Why Nick had to take ZIM off is beyond reasoning. They were incredibly stupid for taking him off- think of all the money they've lost! :mwahaha:

Just out of curiosity: Do you have to buy this 'Corel Painter Classic' you speak of? If not, and it's free for download from the internet, can I have the link? ^^

Nopesies, Minimoose is pink =3 If you watch the X-Mas eppy you can see him there ^^ Although there was a minimoose-resembling creature in the Abducted apisode which was brown to be fair =) Thankies anywho though!!

...You know I still continue to be amused by your icon no matter how many times I see it? X3

Heh.. I thought that, too. But nope. Minimoose.. in the comic that Jhonen drew from the show, was pink, and the toy that Gir has is brown. Why do I know this? Because from reading Jhonen's works SO much I have become accustomed to picking up on the littlest of details like that. Heh.. :P

oh..and while I'm at it, I love this!1 wonderful work, you! And yes..posting it on the release date of the DVD was a good idea..even though I got it mega early.. lol.
